Finance Officer

Summary
The Finance Officer manages day‑to‑day financial operations, supports budgeting, and ensures accurate job‑costing for restoration projects. This role keeps the business financially healthy and provides clear insight to the workshop and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and daily financial administration
• Accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments and customer invoicing
• Bank reconciliation and cash‑flow monitoring
• Payroll processing and HMRC compliance
• Financial reporting including monthly accounts, VAT returns, and job‑costing summaries
• Budgeting support and cost tracking for restoration projects

Skills & Experience

• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Experience in small business or project‑based costing environments
• Clear communication and ability to work closely with workshop staff

Pay: £32,500.00 per year
