Film & TV (Acting for Screen) Teacher job at London Full Time

Aurum Talent Academy, powered by Aurum Talent Agency, is actively seeking a highly skilled Film & TV Teacher to join our elite core faculty for the 10-Week Autumn Intensive.

Operating out of professional rehearsal studios at The Place in London, our academy provides industry-focused training to prepare young performers for elite opportunities and agency exposure. Your focus will be on the “Acting for Screen” pillar of our curriculum, equipping students with the technical and creative skills required to thrive in front of the lens.

This is a dynamic, high-impact role perfect for a working actor or screen director who is passionate about translating on-set techniques to the next generation of talent.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver Screen Acting Curriculum: Teach naturalistic acting, camera techniques, hitting marks, and professional set terminology.
• Audition & Self-Tape Prep: Develop exercises essential for mastering self-tapes, building screen confidence, and executing successful commercial and TV auditions.
• Manage Rotational Blocks: Lead four highly focused 75-minute rotational training blocks each Saturday.
• Adapt for Age Groups: Tailor your direction and terminology dynamically across our four brackets: Minis (Ages 3–6), Juniors (Ages 7–10), Inters (Ages 11–15), and Seniors (Ages 16–21).
• Foster Professionalism: Build a disciplined, highly supportive, and inclusive environment that mirrors a real-world working set.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

• Industry Pedigree: Verifiable professional acting credits in Film, Television, or Commercials, with a deep understanding of current casting and self-tape trends.
• Youth Teaching Experience: Proven ability to command a room of up to 30 students and translate complex screen acting concepts into accessible, age-appropriate exercises.
• Stamina & Energy: The capacity to maintain high energy, focus, and enthusiasm across a full 6-hour intensive teaching day.
• Punctuality & Professionalism: A strong commitment to arriving early for setup (8:30 AM call time) and upholding the premium standard of the Aurum brand.
• Safeguarding Compliance: An enhanced DBS check (on the update service) is required, alongside a strict adherence to zero-tolerance safeguarding policies.

Schedule & Commitment

• Working Hours: Saturdays, 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM (Classes run 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
• Term Dates: The 10-week intensive launches on Saturday, 12th September 2026.
• Scheduled Breaks: Please note there are official academy breaks on Saturday, 26th September 2026 and Saturday, 31st October 2026 (No classes).
• Showcase Weekend: While this role focuses on screen acting, all faculty are required to attend the grand finale showcase weekend at The Other Palace, London on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th November 2026 to support the students.

Pay: £200.00 per day
