Duties

• Assisting with the installation and repair of fencing using appropriate materials and techniques
• Supporting carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other construction-related activities as required
• Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Preparing work sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment
• Assisting with fabrication tasks related to fencing or other structures
• Supporting plumbing, electrical, or roofing tasks as needed under supervision
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout each project

Qualifications

• Previous experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or general construction is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
• Basic understanding of fabrication processes is advantageous
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills across different trades such as plumbing, welding, or electrical work
• Valid UK driving licence
