Estimator job at London Full Time NEW

Horand Limited is preparing to begin operations within the UK construction sector, focusing on façade, cladding and external envelope works.

We are currently looking for a Cladding Estimator to help build and support the estimating side of the business from the beginning.

This role is suitable for someone with estimating experience in cladding, façades, roofing or external envelope systems, or someone from a practical site background looking to move into estimating.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Preparing take-offs and quotations
• Pricing cladding and façade packages
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
• Assisting with tender submissions
• Supporting pre-construction and estimating processes
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and project risks

Experience / Skills

• Experience within construction estimating, cladding, façades or roofing
• Ability to read architectural and construction drawings
• Good understanding of materials and labour pricing
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Excel knowledge required
• Experience with estimating software is an advantage

Systems & Packages

Experience with any of the following is beneficial:

• Rainscreen cladding
• Brick slip systems
• Fire barriers and insulation
• SFS systems
• Support systems and façade interfaces
