Educate 2gether is excited to offer an opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to join our growing team as an Education Recruitment Consultant.

This role will initially be fully remote for the first three months, with plans to transition into office-based working in the Bournemouth/Poole area following a review period.

Please note our business hours are 7:30am – Monday to Friday, so applicants must be comfortable with an early start.

Salary & Commission

The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, plus an attractive and competitive commission structure.

The Role

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in attracting and matching candidates to temporary and permanent positions within Schools and Nurseries. You will work closely with both clients and candidates, building strong professional relationships and developing a thorough understanding of recruitment needs across the education sector.

This is a varied and rewarding role that includes:

• Using sales, business development, marketing techniques, and networking to generate new business opportunities
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools and nurseries across the South of England, including regular client visits and travel
• Developing a strong understanding of client recruitment needs and requirements
• Advertising vacancies and attracting candidates through social media and online platforms
• Headhunting and proactively sourcing suitable candidates
• Searching job boards and databases to identify high-quality candidates
• Reviewing CVs, conducting interviews, and creating candidate shortlists
• Briefing candidates on job responsibilities, salary, and benefits
• Preparing candidate profiles and correspondence for clients
• Coordinating interviews and managing feedback between clients and candidates
• Negotiating pay rates and placement terms
• Working towards and exceeding targets relating to permanent placements and daily supply bookings
• Carrying out daily sales and supply calls to build new client relationships and maintain existing partnerships

Skills & Experience Required

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the recruitment industry
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Word
• Confidence in learning and using internal CRM/database systems
• Excellent communication and telephone manner
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and motivated approach to work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
• Previous experience within the education sector would be advantageous but is not essential
• A Level 3 Diploma in Recruitment Practice would be beneficial but is not essential
