ECTs Required – Permanent Positions in September 2026

Q – Or, are you finishing ECT1 looking to start ECT2 in a new school?
If so, EdEx are working with an Outstanding School in Hounslow keen to onboard ECTs this September in permanent, full time positions.
The school run a bespoke programme for ECTs designed to have you be signed off as an outstanding practitioner by the end of year 1, with the second year of training focusing around operational leadership. EdEx have worked with this school for a number of years and have placed ECTs who now serve in MLT at the school – showing the ambition of the school to invest in it’s less experienced staff.
ECT’s required – What is the school like?
- OFSTED Outstanding – renowned locally for its excellent behaviour
- All through school, meaning routines and expectations are embedded from EYFS, with no transition from Y6-Y7, students remain settled and supported
- The school aim to overstaff, enabling them to keep staff workloads reduced to 80% of their max capacity
- Warm, welcoming school, SLT try to make working here as fun as possible which has led to an excellent atmosphere, staff often arrange out of work social events
- Based in Hounslow
ECTs required – Who are we looking for?
- QTS Qualification is essential – applications without UK QTS will not be accepted
- Strong Academics, ideally 1 class/2:1 degree with excellent A-Levels
- ECTs of the following subjects:
- Art
- Physics
- Maths
- English
- Music
- Drama
