Position: Domestic Abuse Victims Support Worker

Job Description:
Her Safe Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Victims Support Worker to join our team in Coventry. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support to victims of domestic abuse, helping them transition to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide emotional and practical support to victims of domestic abuse.
– Assist clients in understanding their rights and accessing necessary services.
– Develop and implement individualized support plans for each client.
– Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans.
– Facilitate support groups and educational workshops.
– Liaise with external agencies and service providers to coordinate care.
– Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
– Strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on victims.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Compassionate, non-judgmental, and patient demeanor.
– Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
– Can speak more than one language. (Preferably Cantonese)
