Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting bakery goods efficiently and safely to various locations on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Start time of this role is 3:00am at the bakery in Catherinefield industrial estate, making up van orders at the bakery and loading the van and delivering to Glasgow/Stirling with between 12-15 drops per day approx. finish time 12:30pm.

£13.28 per hour plus commission.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and customer service. A valid driver’s licence and previous delivery driver experience are essential for this position, but training will be given.

Duties

• Safely operate company delivery vans to transport bakery goods to designated locations
• Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries made and documented
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during daily operations

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and punctuality
• Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting tasks and long periods of driving
