We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Candidates should possess a valid driving licence and have prior experience in commercial driving or delivery roles.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly for transit.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Obtain signatures and necessary documentation upon delivery completion.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns professionally.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or commercial vehicles.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic laws within the area.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo safely and efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules and route planning effectively.
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Self-employed, Permanent

Pay: £160.00-£195.00 per day
