Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting food in various locations efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous delivery experience and a valid driving licence to contribute to our operational success.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicle to deliver food across designated routes.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
- Secure placement during transit of food to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery details against orders and obtain proof of delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Familiarity with local routes and navigation systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality.
- Good communication skills for liaising with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £23.00-£80.00 per day
