Redpath Tool Hire are the leading Plant & Tool Hire company in the Scottish Borders. We supply a vast array of products to various industries. Our depot and operational team are instrumental to our success; as they are the first stage in the delivery & collection of our products all over the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland. Their daily activities are supported by our advanced systems and procedures which ensure safe and accurate purchasing of materials.

As a Delivery Driver with Redpath Tool Hire your activities will include:

Actively participate in our strong safety culture.
Ensure the company Health & Safety and environmental policies are strictly adhered to.
Conduct daily checks on vehicles and report problems accordingly.
Safely operate and be willing to learn the operation of various items of mobile plant on site.
Monitor all visiting suppliers – including PPE compliance.
Assist depot management as required.

Redpath Tool Hire is looking for an individual with a strong customer focus and a keen eye for detail who can professionally and confidently interact with customers. It is essential that all of our staff are safety conscious and have a good appreciation/awareness of our unique working environment.

Applicants should be organised, physically fit and motivated individuals who can work to deadlines and be prepared to adapt according to business priorities. Exceptional communication skills are required to effectively work with team members and to assist customers and suppliers with any potential queries they may have.

Candidates should have the ability to stay calm under pressure whilst operating safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment. Please note that candidates will be working outside.
