Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries. The position involves operating flatbed vehicles and requires a valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving.

Duties

• Safely operate flatbed vehicles to deliver goods to clients and customers across designated routes
• Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit
• Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience
• Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles (e.g., LGV or HGV licence)
• Experience with flatbed vehicles is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to lift and handle goods safely when required
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues
