The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimising our data centre infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of critical systems. Responsibilities

• Manage and support data centre hardware, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
• Implement and maintain cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms.
• Develop and optimise automation scripts using Python and Java to streamline operations.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy APIs for system integration.
• Ensure security protocols are adhered to in accordance with industry standards.
• Support the deployment of DevOps practices within the data centre environment.
• Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and updates in line with SDLC best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components like servers, storage solutions, and networking hardware.
• Experience with APIs development and integration processes.
• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and database management principles is desirable.
• Experience working within DevOps environments is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Pay: £24,951.33-£66,392.94 per year
