Data Analyst job at Didcot Full Time NEW

In alignment with UK standard occupational frameworks, the successful candidate will be responsible for the structure, analysis, and modeling of our operational data. Key duties include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining data models to track inventory control, repair cycle efficiencies, and retail performance.
• Utilizing SQL, Python, or R to extract, transform, and clean complex datasets from multiple internal business channels.
• Creating automated, clear dashboards and visualizations (via Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) to interpret business trends and provide actionable insights to management.
• Performing detailed root-cause analysis on system data anomalies to ensure strict data quality, security, and integrity assurance.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with team members to translate complex technical findings into practical, strategic business solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher along with relevant technical discipline (satisfies RQF Level 6/graduate level criteria) with 2-3 years experience.
• Technical Expertise: Proven practical experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Advanced Excel, Python/R) and data visualization software. Proven experience in Amazon, Shopify or e-commerce platforms will be an added benefit.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities with a high capacity for pattern recognition and statistical analysis.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English language skills, with the ability to present complex technical data reports clearly. Proficiency in other languages will be an added advantage (French, Urdu or Hindi).

Working Hours & Flexibility

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Didcot premises (37.5 hours per week) to ensure seamless integration with our physical IT infrastructure and team. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered on an ad-hoc basis upon the successful completion of the initial probationary period.

Pay: £41,700.00-£45,000.00 per year
