Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Ground Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various ground preparation tasks on construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the project. Responsibilities

• Assisting with site clearance, including removing debris and organising materials
• Digging trenches, holes, and foundations as directed by supervisors
• Operating basic hand tools and small machinery under supervision
• Ensuring the work area is safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Supporting the installation of groundwork components such as drainage systems or concrete bases
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
• Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Experience

• Previous experience in construction or ground works is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks throughout the day
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a construction environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
