Commercial Cleaning Supervisor – Fantastic Company – London – up to £34k + bonus & benefits – Shift Based Hours

We’re on the hunt for a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to join a large venue in London, taking responsibility for core cleaning duties and providing day-to-day supervision for the team, resolving minor issues whilst on shift.

This is a hands-on cleaning role where you will spend the majority of each shift actively cleaning alongside the team and being actively visible at all times. You will lead by example through a hands-on approach, a strong work ethic and consistently high cleaning standards.

Shifts: This is a shift-based role working 12-hour shifts on a 4 days on / 4 days off rota. Shifts can start between 6am and 11am, therefore you will need to be able to get to and from work and not necessarily rely on public transport.

Responsibilities as Commercial Cleaning Supervisor:

• Undertaking hands-on, day-to-day cleaning
• Providing day-to-day supervision to team, supporting new starters and helping to resolve minor issues on shif
• Leading by example through a proactive approach, undertaking cleaning duties to a high standard
• Ensuring the venue remains safe, clean and welcoming
• Acting as point of contact in the absence of the Cleaning Manager and working collaboratively with other Cleaning Supervisors
• Undertaking checks of completed work and taking immediate corrective action is required
• Promoting safe working practices
• Reporting accidents in line with company procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working in a cleaning environment (essential),
• Experience gained in commercial cleaning is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with a proactive, hands-on approach to cleaning
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Ability to supervise the team and lead by example
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge and understanding of workplace H&S is advantageous
