Join Our Team at Busy Bees – Leading Nursery Group in the UK

This role involves covering our centres in Harlow, Bishops Stortford, and Stansted, so applicants must be within a commutable distance of all three locations.

Please note that additional overtime may be required to support operational needs. The successful candidate will complete their induction at a centre with an established chef and will then be required to work across multiple nursery sites, depending on where support is needed.

Role Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary needs.
• Oversee kitchen operations ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Manage kitchen staff and collaborate with regulatory bodies during inspections.
• Maintain kitchen inventory and efficiently manage purchasing.

Required Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate:

• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).
• Experience in catering or kitchen operations.
• Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
