Job Overview
We are seeking a Carpet & Flooring Estimator and Salesperson. The main role is to go out to peoples homes and businesses to measure up for new flooring. Must be able to work out plans and have knowledge in this industry.
Also to help customers in the showroom, answering phones, booking in work.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their flooring needs through active listening and consultation
- Present product options, including carpets, and related accessories, highlighting features and benefits
- Assist customers with colour selection, material specifications, and technical details using organisational skills
- Support the sales team by managing appointments, follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely stock availability and order fulfilment
- Communicate effectively in English
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within flooring
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and inventory management
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to create appealing displays that attract customers
- Ability to sell products tactfully while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment and independently when required

Pay: £120.00-£160.00 per day
