Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble oak timber frames and structures according to project specifications, tables fireplaces beam preparation, using wood mizer, thicknesser
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and join materials
• Install framing components
• Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials around the yard or construction site
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently
• Read technical drawings and blueprints to execute precise framing work

Skills

• Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, and masonry
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised construction equipment
• Knowledge construction
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Good physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions accurately
