Overview
We are seeking experienced, compassionate and dedicated Carer Support Workers to provide essential assistance to individuals in our community as Domicilliary care workers. The role involves supporting clients with personal care, daily living activities, promoting wellbeing, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in health and social care, with the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients in maintaining their independence through practical help with daily tasks
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status, noting any changes or concerns
- Encourage participation in social activities and promote mental wellbeing
- Follow care plans accurately and ensure all activities are carried out safely
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and any incidents or observations
- Promote healthy lifestyle choices by providing guidance on nutrition and wellness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support workers as needed
