Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to individual in thier home and within their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and committed to delivering person-centred care. Previous experience in care settings is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Duties

• Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Supporting clients to maintain independence and dignity in their routines
• Preparing and serving meals in accordance with individual care plans
• Assisting with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalised care
• Adhering to health and safety policies, including infection control procedures
• Contributing to a warm, respectful environment that promotes client comfort and well-being

Qualifications

• Experience working within home care environment is desirable but not mandatory
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
• Good IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care plans
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
