Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Team Members to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of food items and beverages according to company standards
- Serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Take orders accurately and process transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including kitchen and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth running of the café
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or café environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation and food safety regulations is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and stock counts
- Experience in serving customers with courtesy and professionalism
- Kitchen or culinary experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn new skills
