About the Company
NCS Global is looking to expand its business-to-business client base and strengthen its commercial presence in the UK market. The company provides technology, business solutions and professional services to clients and is now seeking a motivated Business Development and Sales Executive to support its next stage of growth.
About the Role
We are looking for a confident and commercially minded Business Development and Sales Executive to help the company identify new B2B opportunities, build relationships with potential clients and convert business enquiries into long-term commercial relationships.
The role is focused on developing and maintaining relationships with other businesses, understanding their requirements, explaining the company’s services, and helping to bring new business into the company.
Previous direct sales or marketing experience is not essential, although it would be helpful. The company is primarily looking for someone who has dealt with business clients, suppliers, commercial contacts or other professional stakeholders before, and who can understand the company’s services, communicate confidently with businesses, and develop relationships that may lead to new work for the company.
Candidates with existing business contacts, professional networks or experience dealing with companies in a client-facing or commercial environment will be particularly welcome.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and approach potential business clients who may require the company’s services.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing B2B clients.
· Understand the needs of business clients and explain how the company’s services may assist them.
· Promote the company’s services through direct outreach, networking, referrals, meetings and professional communication.
· Support the company in expanding its customer base across relevant business sectors.
· Build long-term relationships with businesses to encourage repeat work, referrals and further commercial opportunities.
· Research potential markets, client groups and sectors where the company may be able to grow.
Candidate Requirements
· Previous experience dealing with businesses, clients, suppliers, vendors, commercial contacts or professional stakeholders.
· Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to understand a company’s services and explain them clearly to potential business clients.
· Good understanding of business communication, client handling and relationship management.
· An existing network of business contacts, or the ability to develop new business relationships, would be an advantage.
What We Are Looking For
The company is looking for someone proactive, commercially aware and confident in dealing with businesses. The right candidate does not need to have a traditional sales or marketing background, but must be able to understand the company, communicate its services clearly, develop relationships with other businesses and help generate new opportunities for the company.
