Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bricklayers Labourer to carry out work outside of the house in the garden area The role involves fixing front wall and taking down brickwork in the back garden, and maintaining safety standards on-site.
Responsibilities
- Handle and operate hand tools, power tools, and basic masonry equipment under supervision
- Mix mortar and assist with laying bricks, blocks, or stones as directed
- Support with site organisation, including moving materials and debris clearance
- Assist with carpentry, roofing, or welding tasks as required on-site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, and chisels
- Basic understanding of bricklaying, masonry, and construction principles
- Experience or familiarity with power tools used in building trades
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites
- Additional skills in carpentry, roofing, or welding are advantageous but not essential
Pay: £25.00 per hour
