We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our small company. ensuring accurate financial records and supporting smooth business operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage accounting software programmes and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.

Duties

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using recognised Sage accounting software
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly entered into the system
• Assist with preparing financial reports and statements as required
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and correspondence
• Collaborate with external accountants during audits or financial reviews
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies

Experience

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role, preferably within small to medium-sized organisations
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, is essential
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and external partners
