.We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part-Time Bookkeeper to join the business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and supporting our accounting processes.

Duties

• Record and reconcile financial transactions using Xero.
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
• Maintain organised financial records and ensure data accuracy
• Assist with bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports as required
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Prepare documentation for audits and assist in audit processes when necessary
• Supporting the Director with add hoc assistance along with business and growth development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a similar industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Xero.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with supplier and customer accounts contacts effectively.
• A recognised qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £25.00 per hour
