Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle customer orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other relevant equipment safely and correctly.
- Ensure the cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including taking payments and giving change.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Maintain a welcoming environment by engaging positively with customers and addressing any enquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven Barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure hygienic practices are maintained at all times.
- Experience in serving customers with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic food preparation skills for handling snacks or light food items when required.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising service quality.
- Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.

Pay: £12.21-£16.74 per hour
