Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
• Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions efficiently and providing correct change.
• Greet customers warmly, taking orders with attention to detail and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
• Follow food safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling sandwiches or snacks.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Experience

• Previous barista experience is preferred and additional training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
• Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
• Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods. This role requires a positive attitude, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
