Part-Time Baker & Cake Decorator

We are looking for an experienced Baker and Cake Decorator to join our growing bakery and coffee shop team on a part-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone creative, reliable and passionate about baking, presentation and introducing fresh ideas. Alongside bakery production and cake decoration, the successful candidate will also contribute to developing daily treats and supporting the coffee shop operation when needed.

Working Hours

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
• 20 hours per week

Pay

• Paid monthly through bank transfer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate cakes, pastries and baked goods to a high standard
• Introduce new bakery products, ideas and seasonal specials
• Create daily treats and display items for the coffee shop
• Support light food preparation, including sandwiches and café items when required
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food hygiene
• Work collaboratively with the wider bakery and coffee shop team
• Ensure products are presented consistently and attractively

Requirements

• Previous experience in baking and cake decoration
• Strong creative and presentation skills
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organised and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
