Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Chef/Waiter to join our dynamic team. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
• Support the kitchen team with cooking and plating dishes to ensure quality and presentation
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
• Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and delivering food promptly
• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen workspace
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to support smooth service flow
• Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for staff and customers

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is desirable
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to serve guests courteously
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation and cleanliness
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Previous restaurant or serving experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
