The team are looking for an Assistant Accountant to support their Financial Controller in a broad and busy role.
Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional who wants exposure to a high-calibre environment, real responsibility, and the chance to grow with the organisation as it scales. Core responsibilities include:
- Update Accounts Payable ledgers with invoices across multiple currencies
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Prepare payment files
- Bank reconciliations
- Aged creditor reporting
- Accruals / prepayments at month end
What you’ll need to succeed
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in an AP focussed transactional finance or accounts role.
- Proactive, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work unsupervised.
- Good team player, able to work effectively within a small team where ad hoc tasks can arise.
- Flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in are key.Experience of working with multiple currencies.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to colleagues.
