Finance Assistant

• Annual Salary: £40k – £45k

Join our dynamic team in the consultancy sector as a Finance Assistant. This role is ideal for an individual with 1 to 3 years of experience, looking to further their career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Hybrid working is standard, allowing flexibility with time spent at client sites, home, and the local office.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide payroll support for payrolls across multiple regions.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Help in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Conduct month-end tasks.
• Support bank reconciliation processes.
• Manage employee expenses.
• Collaborate closely with the wider business, providing support across various financial activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a finance role.
• Partly qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, with the intention to complete studies during employment.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Outlook skills.
• Experience using Finance and Accounting Software.
• Experience in a fast-paced professional services environment is desirable.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Strong communicator, able to influence and build relationships across the business.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and revenue recognition.
• Strong task management skills and the ability to see tasks through to completion.
• Commercial awareness and approach.
