Full job description
We are seeking an experienced Arcade & Fruit Machine Technician to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and servicing a wide range of arcade machines, amusement equipment, and fruit machines across venues in London, Kent, and Essex.
This role requires someone who can work independently, manage their own workload, and confidently diagnose and repair faults on-site. There will also be occasions where nationwide travel is required for larger installations, venue openings, and breakdown support.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining arcade machines and fruit machines
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and software faults
- Installing and commissioning new machines at customer venues
- Carrying out preventative maintenance visits
- Responding to breakdown call-outs and resolving issues efficiently
- Supporting large-scale nationwide machine installations
- Maintaining accurate service records
- Providing excellent customer service while representing the company
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working on arcade machines, fruit machines, gaming machines, or amusement equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work alone and manage your own schedule
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout London, Kent, Essex, and occasionally nationwide
- Professional and reliable attitude
Desirable Skills
- Experience with payout systems, coin mechanisms, hoppers, note acceptors, and ticket redemption systems
- Experience with Nayax and cashless payment systems
- PAT testing experience
- Basic networking and IT knowledge
- Experience refurbishing and rebuilding machines
