Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Installer to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential sites. The position requires a proactive approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with customers and management
- Install air conditioning systems in mainly residential properties, also commercial environments
- Servicing and repairs of existing air conditioning systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Assist in the training of junior staff or apprentices as required
Skills
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be polite and well mannered with customers and other members of the team
- Strong mechanical knowledge with practical experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Leadership qualities to oversee installation projects and guide junior team members
- Experience with air conditioning systems, including installation, servicing, and troubleshooting
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and team members
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities
