The role of Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all accounts are up to date
• Handle queries from suppliers and internal departments effectively
• Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation
• Work closely with the finance team to support month-end closing procedures
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in a proactive manner
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function

The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Previous experience in accounts payable
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
