Are you a partly or recently qualified accountant with strong year-end and management accounting experience, that’s looking to make the step up to Assistant Manager or Manager level?

Key Responsibilities of this Accounts Manager role;

• Manage your allocated client portfolio which will include both private and corporate clients.
• Plan and oversee a mix of accounts assignments, whilst acting as the key point of contact for your portfolio. Answering any questions or queries accordingly.
• Deal with various third parties such as Investors and HMRC on a regular basis.
• Oversee, lead and train the wider team as appropriate.
• Undertake a mid of ad hoc projects in some niche areas, to service clients as best as possible and seek opportunities for business development.

You

• ACA / ACCA – Soon to be or recently Qualified.
• Strong accounts preparation and review experience, ideally under FRS102/105 gained within accountancy practice.
• Ability to take responsibility for your own tasks and client portfolio.
• Confident in delegating work to more junior colleagues and providing coaching where necessary.
• Knowledge of Caseware, TaxCalc and cloud accounting software such as Xero is beneficial.
