Accounts & Finance Manager We are seeking an organised and reliable Finance and Accounts Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business. The role includes managing bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and financial reporting, while ensuring accurate and efficient financial administration across the company. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good knowledge of accounting systems, and the ability to work independently while supporting the wider team. Previous experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping is essential, with management or supervisory experience beneficial. This is a part time role, and hours can be flexible but fixed weekly.Monthly pay – employed or self employed options available for discussion Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
- Assisting with payroll preparation
- Managing petty cash and expense records
- Maintaining accurate financial and accounting records
- Supporting month-end reporting activities
- Handling accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Filing and organising financial documentation
- Assisting with VAT returns and other finance administration duties
Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- AAT qualification or similar is desirable but not essential
