Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible, can be worked within school hours)
Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour
Location: Perth, Scotland
Reporting to: Accounts Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Handling accounts payable and receivable
- Supporting payroll administration (if required)
- Preparing and processing expense claims
- Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures
- Responding to supplier and customer queries
- General administrative support to the finance team
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills
- AAT qualification (or working towards)
- Experience in a similar industry
