Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilise Sage accounting software for daily transactions.
- Support month-end closing procedures by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.
- Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and records.
- Data entry and management of vehicle fuel consumption
- Assist with the data entry on the Vehicle Maintenance Software, training to be provided as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is desirable.
- Familiarity with Sage accounting software preferable.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00 per year
