Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing financial data. Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and vendor payments
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using sage accounting software .
• Perform data entry tasks related to accounts receivable and other financial documentation
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy
• Prepare reports and assist with audit preparations
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures regarding financial transactions

Experience

• Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is required .
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or QuickBooks is highly desirable
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial services industry standards
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and independently when required
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
