The Role – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to a Year 3 student with ASD, helping them remain focused and engaged throughout the school day. You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support that meets the child’s educational and emotional needs. The ideal candidate will be calm, proactive, and passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential. Duties will include adapting learning activities, promoting positive behaviour, and encouraging social interaction and independence. Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD is essential.
