The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Motorcycle Collection & Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of motorcycles across the UK driving one of our Ford Transit Fleet. This role requires excellent driving skills, a passion for motorcycles, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and securely collect motorcycles from various locations across the UK.
• Deliver motorcycles to customers’ homes or designated locations, ensuring a positive and professional handover experience.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a polite and professional demeanor at all times when interacting with customers and the public.
• Secure motorcycles properly within the delivery vehicle to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan efficient routes to maximize time and minimize mileage.
• Adhere to all road traffic laws and company policies.
• Be prepared for occasional overnight stays and long-distance driving as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Full and clean UK Category A and B license is essential.
• Proven experience driving large vans, including LWB (Long Wheelbase) and XLWB (Extra Long Wheelbase) models.
• Confident and competent in maneuvering and securing motorcycles of various sizes and weights.
• Sound knowledge of motorcycles and an appreciation for their care and handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow instructions.
• A flexible approach to working hours, with willingness to work overtime and undertake occasional overnight stays.
• A responsible and safety-conscious attitude.
• Based within a commutable distance of Rayleigh, Essex.

Hours & Compensation:

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Regular opportunities for overtime and potential to increase weekly hours based on business needs.
• Competitive salary ranging from £29,000 – £45,000 . £29,000 reflects the base salary, with the potential to earn up to £45,000 with overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £29,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
