Full job description
We are a small, friendly family-run car dealership looking for a reliable and organised Finance Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role within a busy dealership environment where no two days are the same.
You’ll play an important part in keeping the business running smoothly, supporting with day-to-day accounts and administration while working closely with the management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations and daily cash handling
- Assisting with vehicle finance administration
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Supporting payroll and supplier payments
- Liaising with customers, finance companies and suppliers
- General office administration duties
what we‘re looking for
- Previous finance, accounts or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and accounting systems
- Friendly, professional and able to work as part of a close-knit team
- Automotive or dealership experience is helpful but not essential
