Waste Crime Enforcement Expert job at London Full Time

We’re looking for a Waste Crime Enforcement Expert for our public sector client on a 12-month contract (Inside IR35).

This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site at one of the following locations: Bristol, London, Newcastle or York.

The successful Waste Crime Enforcement Expert will bring hands-on enforcement experience and use it to influence national policy and compliance frameworks. You will help shape enforcement approaches, ensure policies are practical and effective in real-world contexts, and work closely with colleagues across policy, legal and delivery functions to tackle illegal waste activity.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

• Waste crime enforcement and compliance, including investigation and prosecution processes
• Designing and delivering enforcement strategies at a local or national level
• Working with multi-agency partnerships to tackle illegal waste activity
• Developing policy proposals, sourcing evidence and recommending preferred options to senior stakeholders
• Engaging across a broad range of industry and government stakeholders to build consensus and drive delivery
