About the role
The School of Education plays a key role in the University’s strategic vision for growth, innovation, and global engagement. We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to both on campus and distance learners, including overseas. Our programmes reflect the evolving education profession and the needs of modern learners.
Our programmes are designed to be inclusive, career-focused, and rooted in real-world practice. We offer students hands-on experience through school-based placements, which supports the development of our trainee’s knowledge, skills and confidence to enable them to thrive in the profession. We are proud of our inclusive and supportive learning environment, where students are encouraged to challenge, reflect, and lead.
What you can bring
Successful candidates will have a strong academic background in education, with depth and experience to support the delivery of high-quality teaching across our modules.
Candidates will demonstrate recent experience of teaching within the classroom and supporting trainee teachers and/or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in their development.
We are looking for passionate individuals who share our commitment to developing great teachers.
