Our Fund Services business delivers innovative solutions to investment managers and financial institutions globally. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced software engineers on enterprise-scale applications supporting the financial services industry.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Support the design, development, and enhancement of applications within the Fund Services business
- Develop and maintain software solutions using Java and SQL technologies
- Write and execute JUnit test cases to support software quality and reliability
- Assist with maintaining and modernising existing codebases, including updating legacy library references
- Collaborate with global development teams in an agile and distributed working environment
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and technical discussions
- Work with tools and technologies such as GitHub, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
What You Will Bring:
- Currently studying towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience using Java for software or systems development
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of JUnit testing frameworks and software testing principles
- Knowledge of maintainable coding practices and modern software development approaches
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a distributed team
- Passion for technology and eagerness to learn new skills and tools
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Linux environments
- Experience using GitHub and GitHub version control
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot
- Experience using Docker
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of trading, market making, or financial products would be advantageous
