Client Finance Manager
Media Agency | Central London | Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 WFH) | 40k – 45k
A leading global media and marketing agency is looking for an experienced Client Finance Manager to join its high-performing finance team in London on an ongoing temporary assignment.
This role offers genuine long-term permanent potential, making it an excellent opportunity for someone immediately available and looking to join a fast-paced, globally recognised agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with client leadership teams to manage the financial performance of key accounts
- Own client revenue reporting, forecasting, and month-end processes
- Ensure accurate billing, reconciliations, and revenue recognition
- Monitor client profitability and provide commercial insight to senior stakeholders
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Manage WIP, accruals, and cash flow across multiple campaigns and markets
- Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies within finance operations
- Act as a key liaison between finance, media planning, and account management teams
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
About You
- Previous experience in a Client Finance Manager, Commercial Finance, or agency finance role
- Proficient experience using SAP Vantage or Microsoft Dynamics (essential)
- Background within a media, marketing, advertising, or professional services environment preferred
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
