Prospero Teaching is currently working with a secondary school in the Ealing area, West London, who are seeking a dedicated Head of Science to cover a maternity leave starting in September 2026.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· QTS or equivalent essential
· Experience teaching Science at KS3, KS4, and KS5
· Previous experience within a leadership role or as Head of Department desirable
· Experience working within a secondary school setting
· Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
· Reliable, professional, and committed

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
