Duties

• Greet guests and visitors in a friendly, courteous manner, creating a positive first impression
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
• Handle incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
• Assist guests with reservations, inquiries, and special requests to enhance their stay or visit
• Maintain the reception area’s organisation, cleanliness, and professional appearance
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining logs, and processing payments if applicable
• Provide information about services, facilities, and local attractions to guests
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with tact and professionalism

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred; hotel experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong phone etiquette
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
• Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns diplomatically
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office or specialised booking systems is advantageous
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required; weekend availability may be beneficial
