Part-time | Monday–Wednesday | 9:30am – 5:30pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary within the Tax team of a leading international law firm. This role requires an experienced Legal Secretary who can provide high-level secretarial and administrative support within a busy Tax practice, and the Legal Secretary will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Partner and fee-earner workloads. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and confidential support, and the Legal Secretary will be a central point of coordination within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the Tax team
• Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
• Managing diaries, meetings and scheduling arrangements
• Handling inbox management and responding to internal and external queries
• Supporting billing, file opening and file management processes
• Coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries
• Maintaining accurate electronic filing systems and CRM updates
• Supporting timesheet entry and general administrative tracking
• Assisting wider secretarial and support teams during busy periods and absences
• Ensuring strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within a law firm
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written English, grammar and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
• Professional, proactive and team-focused approach
